Chess boards

A chessboard is a square table on which the game of chess is played. Traditionally, a chessboard is 8x8 in size, meaning it has 64 squares, consisting of 32 white squares and 32 black squares. Each square has its own unique name, which consists of a letter (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h) and a number (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), such as "e4" or "d7".
